YWAM Los Angeles began in 1972 when John Dawson started ministering in the heart of the city. What began as a pioneering response grew into a community committed to evangelism, discipleship, prayer, mercy, and justice.
From the beginning, our community has carried a passion to see Los Angeles transformed and lives restored through the love of Jesus. Every week, students and staff take the Gospel into the streets and continue sending people from LA to the nations.
