Eldership

Director

Werner and Julie Pfau have been commissioned as Directors since September of 2010. They each started in YWAM in the 1980’s, were married in 1993 and have three beautiful daughters. They both have extensive experience in training and leadership development and have staffed and lead multiple YWAM schools. They also ran several businesses between 1997 and 2007 and understand the marketplace as well as full time ministry. They are passionate about preparing workers with a biblical worldview for service in the Kingdom of God and enjoy networking with other expressions of Christ’s Body.

Eldership Council Members

	Lisa Jones Lisa Jones has served Youth With A Mission Los Angeles as Urban Ministry Leader for 10 years, on base leadership for 8 years, and more recently been involved in training schools. Lisa is passionate about seeing lives fully redeemed and surrendered unto God, as well as the Body of Christ growing in unity and fulfilling its specific purpose in the Kingdom. She has four children, with her youngest son, Reid, (16) still at home.
	Nigel Burmester I work in the accounting department. I come from England, where I attended my Discipleship Training School in 1991. After two years with YWAM New York I joined the Los Angeles base in 1993. I am married to Megan and we have two boys, Aidan and Kieran.
	Conrad Kusel I am a native of South Africa. I did my DTS in Los Angeles in 1991. I have been serving with YWAM LA fulltime since 1999, because God totally ruined me for the ordinary during my DTS. Add to that the fact that I met my wife, Bonnie, during my DTS, and you get the picture. We have 3 wonderful kids: Timothy, Christopher and Gabriel, who are a great blessing to us.
